I learned
I do not need you
to be complete
or to feel whole
For this light I found within me
Is guided by my soul
It was always there
buried away
Underneath layers of fears
And false beliefs
That have grown
throughout many years

No fear can extinguish
this flame so bright
Not even your absence
dims this light
